Sprint branded Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 – 7 inch has come as a refreshing wave amidst the carrier – branded devices which are available at a whooping price or with a 2-year contract, to get into an affordable range. Sprint has made an exception with Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 – 7 inch by offering it at just $49.99 upfront amount. The tablet will be available for sale from October 11 at Sprint stores. The Sprint tablet is $150 cheaper than its WiFi version of its sibling Samsung Galaxy Note 8.
Now time for some facts. The real catch is the evaluation of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3-7 inch. The tab, if compared to the new-age tablets like Nexus 7 and Kindle Fire HDX, looks like outdated and quaint with its 7 inch, 1024 X 600 resolution screen. The dual-core 1.6Ghz processor too does not quite match up to the nowadays beastly powerhouses. The 16GB internal storage with microSD slot and rear camera of 3 megapixel do not help either. The device runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.
Think that we have played enough dirty for you. So if this does not excite you much, you can look up to the LTE version or CDMA 3G. But again, Sprint is running out on tablet stock. Apart from iPad, it just has Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 which the website shows out of stock.
The Sprint branded Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 is also available with 2 year contract on a new Sprint line or new One up contracts. The data plans can be availed at $5 per month. This is exclusive of taxes and other surcharges. Though, Sprint has not disclosed anything on price, subsidized cost or interest free charges. From Friday, you can buy a white version of the tablet but black Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 will be available couple of days later, or during holiday as told in the press release.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7 inch will be available on Sprint sales platforms such as Sprint Business Sales, Sprint Stores, Telesales and Web Sales.
