Several Models

Following the trend set up by its predecessor, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2, the Galaxy Tab 3 will also be made available in several models of different sizes and features. Currently it is being expected that the rumored tablet will come with 7 inch display, 10.1 inch display and with cellular and non-cellular capabilities.

Intel Atom Powered Processors

Several leaks and reports from different sources have confirmed that Samsung is going to use the Clover Trail+ Intel Atom processors in at least one of its 10 inch Galaxy Tab 3 models. Unfortunately, none of these reports confirm whether the other models will have Intel’s processors or not.

Samsung Galaxy S4 Like Features

Samsung has already made it clear back in the Galaxy S4 launch event that they are going to make the TouchWiz related features like the Smart Scroll and Smart Stay available in all of its flagship devices unless they are bound with hardware. This means that we are most probably in for some if not all rings and bells that we have seen in the Galaxy S4 and fell in love with.

A Better Front Camera

While pin pointing the exact number of mega pixels that the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 front side is going to offer will be hard, speculations suggest that the device will either make use of a 2MP or a 1.9MP front camera.

The main reason for this belief is that many of the new TouchWiz features rely on the front camera trickery, especially features like Smart Scroll and obviously Dual Shot. It is also to be noted here that the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 came with a VGA camera which wasn’t really preferred by the folks who like to video chat.

More RAM

Considering how demanding it is in terms of hardware to keep up with the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and with the latest high end games, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 is bound to come with at least 2 GB RAM. The possibility for an increased RAM further solidifies when we keep in mind that Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie release is right about the corner and it is most probably going to have greater minimum hardware requirements than the previous Android versions.

Latest Android

Over the past few years, Samsung has built quite a reputation for itself for providing the latest firmware in its devices and there is no logical reason why they wouldn’t do the same in its flagship tablet. So it will be safe to assume that the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 will come with Android 4.3 right out of the box and even if it doesn’t, it will only be a matter of few weeks before an update gets rolled out.

Release Date And Availability

As far as release date and availability is concerned, Samsung has maintained its silence over the matter and everything so far is either a wild guess or a baseless rumor. Nevertheless, it is being expected that Samsung will announce the arrival of its Galaxy Tab 3 during the company’s ‘Premiere 2013’ event in London on June 20.
